Jaiva
Jaivah is a Tanzanian singer, songwriter, rapper, and producer who began his music career around 2015. He is currently signed under BXtra Records, one of the biggest record labels in Tanzania.
He launched his career with the debut track titled "Jaiva," which gained significant airplay on mainstream Tanzanian radio stations. The song's popularity even led to his performance at one of Tanzania’s leading university festivals, After Skul Bash. Impressed by his talent, Joh Makini and Karabani collaborated on a remix titled "Jaivah Remix," available on all platforms.
Jaivah has since worked with heavyweight artists in Tanzania through various features and collaborations. Notable collaborations include working with Gigy Money, Country Wizzy, and Darassa on "Lock Me Down," a track from Darassa’s 2020 album, Slave Becomes King.
In 2021, Jaivah released his debut EP, Jaivah Vibes, which helped establish his sound in the Tanzanian market. His big break came in 2023 with the release of the smash hit "Soup," featuring Marioo, Chinno Kid, and South African-based artists Scott London and KS Hub.
